Meet Niels Hoffard

I work for DuFor for many years and happy with the opportunities given to me to grow as a Technical Director within our company. We have a really great atmosphere in the office, factory and laboratory and all work together as one team.

I love doing research and developing new innovative products and this is what my job is all about. I also like solving challenges in close cooperation with customers and colleagues. I am proud of our team and of the modern lab facilities we have set up over the years. Our lab in Zevenaar is in fact a small scale production facility, combined with extensive equipment for polymer analysis.

I have an advanced knowledge of polymer engineering and polymer chemistry and possess different skills required to tackle issues during the development of materials into end products. In the last few years I have developed many long-term customer relationships and I enjoy the approach, managing the development process from concept to product launch.

Looking to the future, the polymer industry is faced with many challenges. I am looking forward to develop more and more circular products and solutions and it is my goal to really bring this to the next level. With the start of our ReSpec portfolio my exploratory mind comes fully into play.
