Meet Arjen van Kempen

Although I studied Human Geography, I have been fascinated with the world of polymers ever since my father showed me the AKZO application development laboratory when I was around 8 years old. Looking back, it was a good decision to switch from geography to polymers by starting DuFor together with Marco.

Right from the start in 2008, we aimed to be the most flexible, sustainable, and customer-oriented supplier of special polyesters. For me, this means our business is not only about chemical recipes but also about the chemistry between people. Of course, this starts with keeping our customers satisfied. However, it is also crucial to build and maintain long-term partnerships with our suppliers. Lastly, it is essential to have a motivated and enthusiastic team of employees who work in a safe, healthy, and inspiring environment.
